რა არის იდიომა?

იდიომა არის ფრაზა ან სიტყვათა წყობა, რომელიც არ აღიქმება მისი ცალკეული სიტყვების პირდაპირი გაგებით, არამედ აქვს სპეციფიური მნიშვნელობა.

ქვემოთ გთავაზობთ ინგლისურ იდიომატურ გამონათქვამებს, რომლებიც ძალიან დაგეხმარებათ როგორც ფორმალურ ასევე არაფორმალურ ინგლისურში.

  7. Call it a day - რაიმეს კეთების შეწყვეტა
    • I have done too much of this, let’s call it a day.
